Copyright...

Please read for clarification on who owns the photos and what can be done to them
As the photographer I own the copyright to the photos. You may say that you are in the photos so they should belong to you. While that sounds like it should be correct, by allowing Mallory Johnson Photography to take your picture you have given consent to be in my original and creative work.
What I give you is a print release which is a form of limited copyright release. It gives you permission to use, make copies or print your photos for personal use in their original state as I have given them to you, You may use them as your profile picture on Facebook, print them on a canvas for your wall or send out to family with your Christmas card. But remember these photos are the work of Mallory Johnson Photography and credit should be given when due.
You are NOT allowed to in any way, edit them. You are also not allowed to put the photos in a contest and you are not allowed to use them for your own business without permission from me. Bottom line, no competitive or commercial use.  If you would like to use them and are not sure if you are violating copyright laws, please contact me.
You are more than welcome to buy the copyright from me. In doing so it will mean that I will no longer be able to use any photos of yours, not on my site, not in my advertising, I will no longer be able to claim them as my own and have no say in any further edits or use.
I would hate to see that a client has taken my work and edited it by changing the colors or even claiming it as their own work. So please be aware of of copyright laws and feel free to ask for further clarification.
